Hi Gustys!

My name is Emma Mackie, and I am beyond excited to be taking on the role of President of the CSS for the 2026-2027 school year. This is my third year at UVic, as well as my third year in the CSS. Last year, I served on the Executive Team planning the Canadian Association of Business Students Roundtable Conference, and the year before that I was a Pre-Core Representative. There has been nothing more meaningful throughout my undergraduate career than being apart of the CSS and I cannot wait to continue contributing to a positive BCom community!

As President, I facilitate faculty relations, lead our executive team, and assist in various portfolios where needed. I am here to guide the CSS in achieving our goals while ensuring we adhere to policy, procedure, and are making decisions that will benefit our student community as a whole.

This year, I am focused on strengthening our impact, professionalism, and our community. I hired all 9 of my amazing executives with these core values in mind, as I know they have the capability to deliver successful results that honour and reflect this mission.
