Hey everyone! My name is Meghan Schneider and I am so excited to take on the role of Executive of Internal for the 2026-2027 CSS! The impact that the CSS has had on my time here at UVIC is unforgettable. I’ve made invaluable friendships and participated in events that are both professional and enjoyable.

To me the CSS has always been about community, and that is what I intend to focus most on this year. I aim to facilitate an internal environment within the CSS that feels welcoming and supportive. I want to provide a place where people feel comfortable to connect with others. I intend to accomplish this through instituting cross-portfolio competition, increasing internal bonding events, and you can count on me to show up with a smile on my face!

I also am aiming to increase organization behind the scenes with the addition of a new secretarial operations director position. Additionally, another goal is to innovate upon our current method of performance evaluations to make them more beneficial for everyone in the CSS.

Above all else, I can’t wait to work with this group of people both within the internal portfolio and beyond!
