The 2026 Greater Victoria Business Banquet, hosted by the UVic Commerce Students’ Society, is an annual event designed to connect Bachelor of Commerce students with the broader Victoria business community. Taking place on January 22nd, 2026, at the Delta Ocean Pointe, this year’s banquet focuses on networking, meaningful conversations, and professional development - all within a formal, engaging, and inspiring environment. The theme, “Celebrating leaders who have built paths and inspiring those who will follow in their footsteps,” reflects the BCom pillars of being integrative, innovative, regenerative, and inclusive.

Students will have the opportunity to connect with over 70 business professionals across diverse industries, many of whom are brought in through CSS relationships and sponsorships with KPMG. Ticket holders receive access to a full formal dinner, a photobooth, a silent auction benefiting the Synergy Foundation, and a curated business panel featuring representatives from major sponsors.

The GVBB offers entertaining connections whilst maintaining a professional tone through its business formal dress code, with no required colours. With 130 student tickets available at $40, our ticket sales will be released on January 3rd. The event provides students with a unique chance to expand their networks, gain industry exposure, and celebrate the achievements of the business community.
