Jazz Chodak - 2019-2020

Simon Litt - 2018-2019

http://sph.ba/?p=317 Simon was the President for the 2018/2019 Academic Year, escalating from a dual-position of Director of Academics and Interim VP of Marketing from the previous administration. Simon came into his term while taking the Entrepreneurship specialization and realized that, while the Commerce Students’ Society was the most active Student group on campus, our activities were confined to business students alone. As businesses require more than just business savvy, Simon committed his time to building relations with other student groups and creating connections that would stand the test of time; by the end of the term, the first Engineering x Business case competition had been born!

Ellen Dewar - 2017-2018

beauteously Ellen was president during the 2017-2018 term. She specialized in Service Management and Entrepreneurship during her time at Gustavson and discovered the CSS in her first year. Ellen and the 2017-2018 team worked to enact the clubs policy within the CSS’ constitution to ensure funding and support were available to new business clubs. This was also the first term to have a Community Outreach portfolio. The team’s other highlights included the highest level of sponsorship at the time, a working relationship with the faculty and Dean’s office, new marketing approaches, and numerous memorable events.

Adam Sorensen - 2016-2017

neurontin 24 hour shipping to us Adam's year as President kept up the great work started by Ryan's team, and accomplished a few new key objectives mostly related to improving student engagement. The main accomplishments of his term were: expanding the Pre-Core Orientation event from a 1 day to a 5 day program, helping host the first on-campus concert in 20 years, and beginning the work of updating outdated governance related to clubs, allowing for a more equitable distribution of funds. His Vice Presidents were: Joshua Smith (VP Internal), Tamiko Sianen (VP Engagement), Gabriel Silva-Porto (VP Finance), Devin Bonin (VP Marketing), Kayla Morrow (VP Events), Amelia Parkhurst-Bartel (VP Academics).

Stuart Mair - 2014-2015

Stu and his team were behind the rebranding and relocating the society’s conference as the ‘Gustavson School of Business Conference’ held in Nanaimo, BC; establishing the ‘Pre-Admit Case Competition’; and winning an award sponsored by Jägermeister and Red Bull for throwing the best party by a UVic student organization. Following the completion of his BCom, Stu moved home to attend law school at the University of Calgary. As of 2019, Stu is a Student-at-Law with Foster LLP and is hoping to continue to develop as a family law litigator.
