The Gustavson School of Business Conference is a fun weekend for core year students that many consider the highlight of the year. The conference will take place from March 15th-17th, 2024 in Nanaimo, BC.

Students will meet at UVic and travel by bus to the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Nanaimo. Students will work with assigned teams to prepare for a case competition in front of business professionals, giving them a chance to network and to work with friends on an engaging and fun case. The night concludes with a dinner/party at a local Nanaimo nightclub with a drink ticket included. A continental breakfast will be provided and students will attend an insightful speaker series with two exciting business professionals. Following the speakers students will compete in the Gusty Athletic Competition. The Athletic Competition will include a number of stations from a slip and slide to capture the flag. There will be many prizes awarded for the Athletic Competition such as Lululemon belt bags, prizes from Supplement King, and more! A formal gala dinner will conclude the weekend with a delicious meal and a keynote speaker. This will then be followed by a private event at a local nightclub with two drinks included!

Prizes and gift bags will be given out throughout the weekend along with sponsorships for RedBull and Yerba Mate. This is a fun filled weekend with something for everyone, it is definitely an event you don’t want to miss!
